Non-working days and holidays in 2023 and what to combine?

Annual vacations are over, autumn has long since begun. Among you, there are certainly those who are already thinking about new annual or at least extended weekends. If you are among the fans of extended weekends, we have good news for you. Until the end of 2022, we have two more potential extended weekends, but the next year, 2023, will be even more ˝favorable˝ in terms of days off, that is, holidays that do not fall on a weekend, as it was this year.

So take advantage of 01.11. - All Saints' Day, which falls on Tuesday. You can add Monday there, because who likes Mondays when they are working. And you'll get a nice extended weekend. In the same month, 18.11. - Memorial Day for the victims of the Homeland War, which falls on Friday, so why not go for an extended weekend once again in November. Unfortunately, December 24, Christmas Eve falls on a Saturday, and December 25. – Christmas on Sunday. The only non-working day in December 2022. is 26.12. - St. Stephen, which falls on Monday.

It's no secret that in Croatia they like to combine non-working days into a mini-annual. Public holidays, holidays - anything is possible if it is a non-working day. Let's first see which public holidays and public holidays are non-working days in 2023.

We will welcome the New Year 2023 from Saturday to Sunday, but that's why the Epiphany is on Friday. Then we will have to wait until April, that is, until Easter Monday. In May we have two holidays, Labor Day which falls on Monday and National Day (May 30) which is on Tuesday. Next is Corpus Christi (June 8) on Thursday and the Day of Anti-Fascist Struggle also on Thursday (June 22). During the summer, the only free day that falls during the week is the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - August 15. Tuesday. Also, All Saints' Day in 2023 will be on Wednesday and Christmas on Monday. Saint Stephen rounds off the year with holidays and falls on Tuesday.
