Job Description

An international financial group APS Holding - providing debt collection services, underwriting and asset management services across Central and South-Eastern Europe - is searching for new team members for our branch: APS Croatia.

Our Legal department is looking for 1 motivated and energetic Legal Advisor to join the team in Zagreb!

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide general day to day support to the Head of Legal and Compliance in managing legal and corporate affairs of the organization
  • Prepare various legal documents such as contracts, agreements and settlement offers
  • Drafting and preparing proposals for enforcement, lawsuits, appeals and other motions to the court
  • Managing sales of real estate and movable property (preparing legal contracts, coordination with public notary)
  • Performing task requiring strong knowledge of the law and legal procedures;
  • Strong support and providing legal opinions in various legal fields (eg insolvency, recovery);
  • Participation in negotiations with debtors including meetings with clients and making settlement agreement
  • Review all legal documents
  • Drafting legal opinions
  • Representing the Company in front of the court
  • Other tasks as directed by superior


Ideal candidate:

  • University Degree in Law
  • Bar exam
  • Experience on similar positions - 2 years
  • Excellent spoken and written English;
  • Advanced MS Office skills;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Multi tasking skills;
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge of land registry, bankruptcy, enforcement law
