Job Description:

The area of responsibility includes ensuring the operation of the application systems and the optimization and maintenance of existing systems. IT standards, methods and architectures as well as the overarching IT strategy are also developed.

• Ensuring the implementation of aircraft modifications with aircraft manufacturers and technology providers as well as integration of avionics components of on-board ground communication
  
• Ensuring the operation, configuration and further development of communication services (ACARS, FlyNet, Cell Connectivity), as well as contracting for providers and users
  
• Performance monitoring of the onboard, ground and communication components, troubleshooting, advising users
  
• Definition and implementation of digitization strategies
  
• Analysis and evaluation of user requirements and processes
  
• Creation of technical concepts and tenders
  
• Commissioning and control of software and hardware suppliers

Your profile:

We are looking for proven specialists with high demands on their work, who have a sovereign overview of the complex operations of an airline and who are enthusiastic about precise and efficient organization and planning.

• Technical) university studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable courses or high school diploma with relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience as an IT project manager, computer scientist or engineer in the avionics environment or in relevant IT areas (software development, software architect, requirements engineering)
• Interest in current IT technologies
• Method and tools of project management
• Technical understanding and analytical mindset
• Ability to present complex issues precisely and to represent the company internally and externally
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German and English
• Unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market
