Financial Officer - Data Analyst

Due to business growth, we are looking for an analytical, precise and proactive person to help us turn financial data into clear insights and support business management. The work takes place exclusively in the office in Zagreb, Prečko.

Your responsibilities

• Analysis of income and transactions by product category (Gift Cards, Game Keys, CS2 Skins, Gaming Credits, etc.)
• Profitability analysis by product categories and markets and benchmarking against business goals
• Analysis of payment provider fees by payment method and creation of comparative cost overviews
• Preparation of financial reports for internal monitoring and investor purposes
• Calculation and verification of correctness of income calculation and reconciliation with internal records
• Statistical analysis and monitoring of costs by categories and time periods
• Payroll in cooperation with an external accounting service
• Entering and controlling incoming invoices, bank statements and payments to suppliers
• Cooperation with external accounting services and internal teams on a regular basis
• Cooperation in the development of the annual financial plan and monitoring of achievements against the plan
• Work on project documentation and applications for funding through EU funds and similar programs (HAMAG-BICRO and others)
• Support in the preparation of documentation for business partners, investors and regulatory needs

What are we looking for?

• Completed 4-year secondary school or higher education (economics, mathematics or related major)
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar financial or analytical roles
• Experience in at least 50% of the listed tasks
• Very good command of English in writing and speaking (minimum B2 level)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, graphs)
• Proficiency with AI tools and openness to automating routine tasks
• Analytical approach to work with the ability to spot irregularities and discrepancies in data
• Independence in work, high level of precision and responsibility
• Ability to track multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience working with payment platforms or e-commerce environments is an advantage

Working conditions

• Workplace: office in Zagreb, Prečko
• Working hours: morning shift (full-time)
• Type of contract: fixed-term employment contract with the possibility of switching to an indefinite one
