Pursuant to Article 48 of the Act on Service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 73/13, 75/15, 50/16, 30/18 and 125/19), Article 138 of the Civil Servants Act , No. 92/05, 140/05, 142/06, 77/07, 107/07, 27/08, 34/11, 49/11, 150/11, 34/12, 49/12, 37/13 , 38/13, 1/15, 138/15 - Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, 61/17, 70/19 and 98/19), and in accordance with the Plan for the Admission of Personnel for 2020 to the Croatian Army with the Plan for Changing the Categories of the Existing military personnel, CLASS: 022-03 / 20-42 / 01, REGISTRATION NUMBER: 50301-29 / 23-20-2 of 27 February 2020, with the prior consent of the Ministry of Finance, CLASS: 100-01 / 20-01 / 2 , REGISTRATION NUMBER: 513-05-01-20-13 of 17 September 2020, the Ministry of Defense is announcing an advertisement for the recruitment of employees in the Ministry of Defense - Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia for an indefinite period of time for the positions of employees III. types:

In addition to the above professional requirements, candidates must also meet the general conditions for admission to the civil service prescribed by Article 48 of the Civil Servants Act and the conditions prescribed by Articles 34 and 47 of the Civil Service Service of the Republic of Croatia.

Persons for whose admission there are obstacles from Article 35 of the Law on Service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia and Article 49 of the Law on Civil Servants may not be admitted to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia in the status of employees.

People of both sexes can apply for the ad.

Employees are hired with a mandatory probationary period of 2 months.

In the application for the advertisement, it is necessary to state the personal data of the applicant (personal name, residential address, telephone or mobile phone number and, if possible, e-mail address) and the number and name of the job to which the person is applying.

The application must be signed by hand.

Candidates are required to enclose with the application:

  • biography
  • proof of Croatian citizenship (copy of identity card, birth certificate, passport or military card)
  • a copy of the certificate of secondary education of the relevant profession
  • proof of work experience (electronic record or confirmation of data recorded in the database of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute - not older than one month)
  • proof of the right to employment benefits, if the candidate exercises such a right
  • a copy of the Certificate of Professional Qualification for the central heating operator and / or boiler plant operator, etc., for positions under ordinal numbers 2, 13 and 20.

The documents are attached in an uncertified copy, and the original will be presented before the selection of the candidate.

A complete application is considered to be one that contains all the necessary information and attachments listed in the advertisement and is signed by hand.

A person who has not submitted a timely and complete application or does not meet the formal requirements of the advertisement, is not considered a candidate applied for the advertisement, of which he / she is sent a written notice stating the reasons why he / she is not considered a candidate. . The notice is usually delivered by e-mail indicated in the application.

The candidate who in the application for the advertisement refers to the right of priority in admission to the service according to a special law, is obliged to enclose with the application all the prescribed documentation according to the special law and has priority over other candidates under equal conditions.

A candidate who invokes the right to employment benefits in accordance with Article 101 of the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette nos. 121/17 and 98/19), with an application for the advertisement, is obliged to and, in addition to evidence of meeting the required conditions, attach evidence of meeting the conditions of priority according to the list available on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans via the following link: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

Candidate who invokes the right to priority in accordance with Article 9 of the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities Act (Official Gazette nos. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20), with the application In addition to proof of meeting the required conditions, he / she is obliged to enclose proof of the established status of a person with a disability.

Applicant claiming the right to employment benefits in accordance with Article 48 f. Of the Law on the Protection of Military and Civilian Invalids of War (Official Gazette, Nos. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 94/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), in addition to the application for the advertisement, he / she is obliged, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, to enclose a decision or certificate from which the mentioned right is visible. A member of a national minority has the right to invoke employment priority on the basis of Article 22 of the Constitutional Act on the Rights of National Minorities (Official Gazette 155/02, 47/10, 80/10 and 93/11) with an application on the advertisement, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, he / she is not obliged to prove his / her status as a member of a national minority.

The announcement is made by the Commission for the implementation of the announcement (hereinafter: the Commission) appointed by the Minister of Defense. The Commission determines the list of candidates who have applied for the advertisement who meet the formal requirements from the advertisement and whose applications are timely and complete, and conducts an interview with these candidates.

A candidate who does not attend the interview is no longer considered a candidate in the procedure.

The time and place of the interview will be published at least five days before the day set for the interview on the website of the Ministry of Defense (https://www.morh.hr).

The selected candidate will be invited to submit within a reasonable time, and before the decision on admission to the service, a certificate from the competent court that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against him / her, a certificate of medical fitness for service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia and originals of other evidence of fulfillment of formal conditions from the advertisement, with a warning that non-delivery of the required documents is considered a withdrawal from admission to the service.

After the selection of the candidate, and before making the decision on recruitment, the Ministry of Defense will ex officio check the absence of other obstacles to recruitment in the civil service from Article 35 of the Law on Service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia and Article 49 of the Law on Civil Servants and to obtain the necessary evidence.

Job descriptions and salary data will be published on the website of the Ministry of Defense (https://www.morh.hr) at the same time as the announcement.

Candidates will be informed about the results of the announcement by publicly announcing the decision on admission to the service for an indefinite period of time of the selected candidate on the website of the Ministry of Justice and Administration https://mpu.gov.hr and the website of the Ministry of Defense https: // www. morh.hr. Delivery of the decision to all candidates is considered to have taken place on the eighth day from the day of publication on the website of the Ministry of Justice and Administration.
