for performing the duties of a teaching assistant for students with developmental disabilities

Position: TEACHING ASSISTANT

• Type of contract: fixed-term employment contract for the academic year 2022/2023. year
• Weekly duties: 1 employee employed for 13 hours of work per week
  (for a 2nd grade student)
  
  
• CONDITIONS:
• Completed at least four years of high school education
• Completed training and acquired partial qualification
• The teaching assistant must not be a parent/guardian or other member of the immediate family of the student to whom support is provided
• A teaching assistant must not be a person against whom criminal proceedings are being conducted or who has been legally tried for one of the criminal offenses

DESCRIPTION OF JOBS:
The basic task of a teaching assistant is to provide immediate support to a student with developmental disabilities during the educational process in tasks that require communication, sensory and motor activity of the student, in movement, support in everyday teaching, extracurricular and extracurricular activities. The jobs of a teaching assistant are: help with communication and social inclusion, help with movement, help with taking food and drinks, help with hygienic needs, help with school activities and tasks, cooperation with teachers and students' peers in the class, and tasks specific to the functioning of individual students or groups of students.


A written employment contract for the duration of September 2022 will be concluded with the candidate selected as a teaching assistant for students with developmental disabilities.
until June 2023, for final year students until May 2023, which will define mutual rights and obligations.

In the invitation application, the candidate should provide personal information (name and surname, date and place of birth, residential address, telephone and mobile number) and all required documents.

With the application, the candidate must attach the following documents in original or photocopy:

• proof of the appropriate level of education (copy of diploma or certificate of professional training),
• proof of Croatian citizenship (copy of corresponding document)
• biography
• certificate of criminal record not older than 6 months,
• confirmation or certificate of completion of the education program for teaching assistant jobs with a minimum duration of 20 hours (copy)
• proof of work experience (electronic record of the work book of the Croatian Institute for Pension Insurance) not older than 30 days
• evidence of the right to preference in employment, if they exercise such rights

Candidates who have not completed the education program for teaching assistant jobs with a minimum duration of 20 hours can also apply for the Public Call, provided that they complete it before starting work. All selected candidates are required to complete the training program for assistants before starting work. Candidates who have already completed that program should submit a certificate proving this, and are not obliged to attend the training.
The education will be organized as part of the implementation of the "MOZAIK 5" project.
Copies of the requested attachments do not have to be certified, and participants are required to submit the original documents for inspection before concluding a written contract.

Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Written applications with proof of fulfillment of the conditions from the Public Call must be received no later than August 25, 2022. until 10:00 a.m. and are delivered to the address:
