How do you choose a name for your business?

Find out what you should know before choosing your company's name or product in the article below.

When it comes to company names , most people would like to stand out in a sea of others and they will try to achieve this in more ways: by using foreign or original words, or by combining more, unusual words such as Pan-Pek.
First of all, you have to decide how unusual your name will be.

Let's take a scale of 1-10, were number one position is the usual word such as "House" and number ten position is the word "Hulu". What is your choice, common or extreme? None is wrong, but probably the best choice for most is the golden middle.
Let's start from the beginning, before you seal the name of your company or project and introduce it to the rest of the world, consider a few factors:

Advertising and competitiveness

Depending on what you advertise and what service you offer, you can estimate the percentage of the oddity of the choice you want to start with.
The unusual name will be more suited to products and businesses advertised in the wider area through a variety of channels, than those that focus on the narrower, local area. Take into account your competition, i.e. its significance.
If you're going to advertise your product in a broader area, an unusual company name may spare you a lawsuit for copying someone else's name.
Be careful, don't choose an overcomplicated name that can't be easily uttered, because in the long run a cool name is no guarantee for success, but a bad name can, therefore, destroy you.

Link to "brand"

Perhaps more important than choosing a unique word to represent you and your product is a link to the "brand".
If you find a word that has a deeper meaning for your business, it will round you up and make an impression on the audience.
A marketing smart move that will proxy you from your competition is surely the answer to the question "How did you design the name?", which is not just because you liked the word but the explanation of your business, summed up in the name.
